The meeting, titled “Türkiye’nin İlk Ay Görevi Başlıyor-Ay Araştırma Programı”, highlighted that the vehicle has passed all manufacturing, assembly, and integration stages. Kacır explained that the moon vehicle is being sent to TUSAŞ for system‑level environmental testing before launch. The announcement confirms Turkey will be the ninth nation to send a mission to the Moon, marking a milestone for national space capabilities. This achievement could enhance domestic research, foster technological growth, and position Turkey among the elite group of lunar explorers.
